IKER CASILLAS

Iker Csillas Fernandez was born in Mostoles, a little town near Madrid in 1981. since he was a child he played in the best club of the world, the Real Madrid's young divisions as a goalkeeper. he debuted in 1999 in a match against Athletic de Bilbao which ended in a tie 2-2. In this yearhe also won the U-20 world cup in Nigeria.

His consecration in the goal of the wihte team was in the Champions league final in glasgow in 2002 where showed alla his skill to accomplis the tournament, this achievement made him possible to go with the Spain national team to the world cup  in Korea-Japan of that yearbut they fell eliminated by the host team in final quarters because some wrong referee's decision.

He couldn't won any tittle after that champions in a period called "The Galacticos era" when he shared the locker roomwith some very famous players like Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, David Beckham, Ronaldo between others. It wasn't untill 2007 bye the management of fabio capello when he could win the spanish leage tittle. 

2008 was a very succesfull year for him, because he was named the best goalkeeper in Spain winning the Zamora trophy after he obtained the Spanish leage again. Later, in june he acomplish his first tittle with his national team, Tehe Euro cup in Austria - Switzerland where he was named champion and the best goalkeeper  of the tournament.Two years later, he achieved the record of the most won matches in the League, and he was the captain of the Spanish team, which won the World Cup in Southafrica, also being the best in his position.

"San Iker" is my favorite player of the world, because he has a grat ledaership, awsome reflexes and he is a referent for all the Real Madrid fans like me.
